Hello folks, I'm back! (not completely *shucks*). I believe I promised to write events or music related post yonks ago, but like I said my "creative" mind is limited to Anime and Manga for a couple of months. But no worries, due to my friend's *NEW* kira kira First Blog (do check it out!) and her first post is Blackberry's Live n' Rockin' that took place in PRJ Hall A on the 19th of March which I also attend. And I decided to write my version of experience on this very blog!

Ticket, hand-band, and confirmation email (and I just have to squeeze Shimana in!)

I've said the time and place, let's move on to the REAL experience. A short prelude, I was already disappointed a week before because none of my mates reminded me about the free tickets to see Suede (well, along with Kpop's 2PM, Shontelle, and my lecturer's look-a-like Taio Cruz). Luckily, one of my mate's mate couldn't make it so I filled her spot. First gig in FOUR YEARS! I couldn't get less excited.

Ok, let's fast-forward the first three performances. (If you want to read 2PM's performance in detail, read here). I was already exhausted after cutting through the VIP spot, but finally made it! I can sense a different atmosphere compared to earlier, but still witnessed the cringe-worthy "saranghae" pose by the 2PM fangirls *rolls eye*. Leaving that aside and a few minutes of instruments checks later, I can see strobe lights and eventually Brett Anderson of Suede and mates filled the stage, staggering, and picking up their instruments. As for me, I was shouting and screaming my lungs out. Enough of the embarrassing euphoria, here's the setlist from that night (Bold text indicate the highlight of the show):

The Hollywood Life isn't exactly an opener I'd like to see, but Brett's energetic moves and youth-like voice is a pleaser. Setlist-wise, Suede's current tour is lacking variations. I missed my chance to see Positivity simply because they didn't include the song on their best-of CD. Anyway, The closing was the best part of the evening. To have Saturday Night played on an actual Saturday night was a rare chance! (and it was FREE! woot!). I'd pay to see them again, and is looking forward for their new material.

Hello? Is Anyone Here? On Hiatus Much?

Hello folks! It's been too long since I last post here and Nino-san is still biting her purple fish. But I'm proud to say I'm still exist in this world of Blogsphere. Just not on my own blog? Yes, straight to the point; recently I've been recruited to join Sunny Side Up Manga + Anime Blog for regular manga and anime reviews. Well, working with fellow bloggers seem like a huge ordeal and exciting so I decided to declare a hiatus on my personal blog. That is, if someone cares :P

What's going to happen? Apart from events and music; I'm closing down the episodic review section as well as the first impressions section. I won't do ANYMORE scanlations. But I still like to thank readers who downloads and comments for them :)

Posts won't appear any time soon. I'm brain dead for other things than anime and manga. *sighs* I haven't listen to a proper album lately. Kings of Leon just pulled the trigger on my head. A huge disappointment :( and Muse has also declared a "rest" this year. Last but not least, RL *coughUNIcough* is my current ultimate killjoy and it doesn't give me much time with the netz.

I've had enough with my thoughts and occasional rants. Please, visit Sunny Side Up Manga + Anime Blog for manga and anime updates! Bakuman (episode 1)

The anime starts off with a very old-school OP which looks a lot like a cross-over between P-man and Dragonball. For a minute, I thought it was the real deal then it ended (the OP that is). the scene shifted to a young Moritaka and his later-deceased uncle. After a few talks regarding manga another OP started, which is obviously the real think.

Back to the present, Moritaka seemed to be unsatisfied with his life. Regardless him being only a ninth grader. Like any other middle school student, everyone seem to focus in getting into high school. Whilst at it, he can't seem to get his eyes off of the girl who sits a few seats in front of him known as Azuki. Mind floating into bubbles, he forgot an important yet plain object under his desk. Suddenly remembered, he rushed into school but only to find the smartest guy in class holding into his notebook. Too little too late, he already found out about his secret. Although, to his surprise, the smart guy, Takagi asked him to be his partner in making manga together. Moritaka hesitated, but refused his offer. Later at home, he received a sudden phone call from Takagi who explicitly confessed to him and asked him to come meet him. The scene shifted to Azuki's home. Takagi then revealed that Azuki is an aspiring voice actress. Shocking proposal and blushing faces in front of Azuki's gate later has finally changed Moritaka's decision. The new upcoming mangaka and seiyuu are on their way. But will their dream come true?

commentary: I just know I will adore this anime. I've read the first few chapters of the manga just right before the production of the anime is revealed. From then, I've always anticipating this series! And it didn't fail. The character designs, they're basically similar to the ones on the manga, so I have to complaints. Story-wise, the introduction seem a bit too rushed. But Ichigo did turned into a shinigami prior to his encounter with Rukia isn't it? Still, hundreds of episodes later his hair only get a few centimeters longer.LOL (basically the plot will develop nicely and long winded, and the analogy is from Bleach. Mind you)

Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin (completed)

Summer anime has finally come to an end this week! (yay?) And Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin is one of the very few anime I watched this season (quite disappointed with the season). Anywho, I haven't done much completed review before, so this one is another attempt. Not the most brilliant series, but it deserves a proper review and I actually enjoyed the show. This post contains SPOILERS. Tons of them and in details. I warn you! xD

(Episode 1: Maya at her father's funeral in Waldstein Academy)

Just like the disclaimer at the very end of each episode, this series is involved with aliens, UMAs, and other nonexistent beings. These beings happen to cross-path with a teenage principal (Maya Kumashiro) of a not-so-normal high school known as Occult Academy. after her father's death, Maya has to inherit Waldstein Occult Academy which she already lose her faith in. Although, the more she tried to ignore the truth, the more awkward the school gets. Maya is positioned as the school principal as well as an active student at the academy. During her first day of school, she re-encountered with her childhood friend Ami Kuroki and a die-hard occult fan Kozue Naruse. At the very same day, Kozue is possessed by a ghost which tingles Maya's occultism bone.

The day hasn't end just yet, when Maya about to scream away her frustration at the top of the school, a time traveler from the year 2012 travel back in time, naked, tried to warn her that the world will be devoured by aliens on 21st of July 1999. The only way to be saved from the invasion is to find the key of Nostradamus. And the most civilised gadget is needed to detect the key, which is a camera phone (an ancient one that is).

From then on, Maya and the time traveler known as Bunmei, or Fumiaki Uchida are on their mission to stop the end of the world with their very own camera phone to find the peaceful image of the future which indicates the Nostradamus key. They've encountered with many weird beings. Maya found Bunmei to be obsolete, therefore she usually have her crew which includes Ami, Kozue, Smile the school mechanic, and JK the dowser for their occult-related missions. Although, her friends remain oblivious of her very own mission.

(Episode 12: Mikaze the witch)

To hide his identity, Bunmei is placed as a teacher in the academy and later encountered a house-restaurant waitress known as Mikaze Nakagawa whom sparks his interest. Mikaze often prevent Fumiaki "Abe-sensei" from helping Maya for her missions and tends to get overly flirty and seducing. Towards the end, it is revealed that Mikaze has an ulterior motive of seducing Fumiaki to rule the world with black magic as a black mage herself. Maya is her main target, although Mikaze was devoured by a spell from Maya's pocket book. But the world hasn't come to peace yet.

To their disappointment, Mikaze isn't the Nostradamus key. Although, the picture shown from the camera phone indicates the key. Only two days remaining before the alien invasion, Fumiaki finally figured out the real key. At the same time, Maya wanted to do a good deed for Fumiaki before he has to leave for the future. Which is to let him get the chance to see his mother. Meeting his mother means to also meet his younger self from the year 1999. This encounter can cause damage to the time-space continuum, and it is actually the Nostradamus key they've been seeking for. Knowing the truth, Maya frustrated. Before they knew it, the invasion day has finally arrived.

Just when Fumiaki is about to leave for the future, he encountered with his younger self. As they both already knew, this will definitely cause the alien invasion. Out of the blue, a large scale machine appeared from the sky. Leaving his cowardly self behind and trusted his younger self's spoon, Bunmei faces the aliens head-on and to Maya's tears, the future Fumiaki Uchida disappears from the sky and left her to take care of his younger self. The world is saved.

The sky turns blue, the alien invasion is successfully prevented from happening. in 2012, it is shown that Maya's father is still alive and the city is as peaceful as it should be. Not long after he foresight the peaceful future, Maya's father returned to the house where he and his daughter are belong to. It is shown a sign with the name "Uchida" on the gate. Maya, her husband Fumiaki, and her father finally live in peace without weird creatures involved.

commentary: Sorry folks, I couldn't get the review short. Alright, plot-wise it was rather random and rushed. The idea isn't particularly new. If not in an anime, then it must had been used on some Hollywood movies minus the mage. Character design is amazing. I fell in love with it since the first episode. Not to mention the surrounding arts! Maya's expressions are priceless and rich. It was well constructs and close to the real deal. Oh one thing is bothering me though, don't the aliens look similar to the ones in War of the Worlds? I reckon this had been discussed on various anime forums. Not that it mattered. Anywho, I have to give the series a 7/10. It was enjoyable though not the best anime I've seen.

Blog Revival and Keyboards!

Folks, I take back what I said regarding the holiday blog task. I've been neglecting the blog way too much now for no crap reason (excuse the language!). But I'm reviving it right now, to the very least.

Enough for the blog revival declaration, I'm going to start with one of my previous task during the holiday. Cleaning an ancient keyboard. Yes, the keyboard which you usually type for your computer. It's not technically ancient, but I can't believe a year is enough to make you want to puke over the disgusting rubbish of crumbs and dandruff under the keys.

After reading xkcd's Keyboards are Disgusting AND spilling rujak dressing over my keyboard, I decided to pull out those keys and swab them off clean. To think it was just the dressing I clearly underestimated the amount of rubbish that were visually hidden all these months. Here's a picture after all of the keys had been pulled out:

The content are bread/cookie crumbs, dandruffs, dusts, and of course the rujak

dressing. Disgusting, innit?

Oh, and the keys! Anyone can do this, just pull them out gently :)

The cleaning process was assisted by my two cousins by using Mr. Muscle (Oops, I just mentioned a brand. Oh on the tissues), cotton swab, tissues, and lastly, toothpicks!

Viola! All clean. Regardless, you're quick-typer or not. It still takes time to put it back together. (I even need a spare keyboard to do so *hides in embarrassment*)

The pieces are almost in their right places. (I know how hideous my keyboard is, they're cheap. Mind you)

So There you go! plug it back in and I can feel the cleanliness when I touch it. Now I won't let people eat whilst typing anymore. It was a traumatic experience. lol

Anyhow, I think everyone SHOULD clean their keyboard as well (If you haven't). The amount of bacteria are far worse than the ones on your toilet bowls. What if a certain someone didn't even wash their hands after doing business in the bathroom?

Holiday - New blog task?

Hello folks! it's been a looong while since I post on my blog. My free time had been disrupted by large sum of projects for uni and such. Classes are over only exams left I'm ready for updates. errr..Where to start?

After I scanned through the last ten posts, I've got nothing but FMA Brotherhood falling behind reviews and anime first impressions which had gone sour. (funnily enough, the two series are the ones I'm currently put on-hold). For end-of-the-month starter, I'm going to start with the upcoming (holiday) blog task!

As we all know, FMA Brotherhood is coming to an end this upcoming July. To finished off what I started, I'm going to exclusively (not quite) close the series with the last two episodes reviews and possible long commentary regarding the whole series. Nothing out of the ordinary but not too meh either.

Second, After looking through my manga collection (mostly shoujo), I'm thinking of having another solo scanlation project. Apparently, my blog doesn't have a lot of visitor but I'll do a poll anyway. list of manga will be announce soon.

Lastly, it's either anime reviews or new anime announcement. but I surely will introduce you folks to my new favourite musician and a review for his latest album Port Entropy (google Port Entropy for artist)

Basically my blog task for the holiday. more updates after all of the commotion ends folks! apologise for the lack of image and how I threw a random one up there. I can't be arsed to do it at the moment. It's plain but readable. (very poor motto). Cheers folks!

moar notes: what's wrong with Ed? Ok, which nationality Ed might be if he were to life in our world? I personally say The Netherlands! his father is Van Hohenheim isn't it? (that was a very low taste pun). Anywho, it has nothing to do with his nationality, The Netherlands is the team I'm supporting for FIFA World Cup 2010. Have you got caught with the World Cup fever? if so, whom are you supporting?

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (episode 52)

After Kimblee's first explosion, Al reunited with Heikel and he was given the red stone to fight against the evil. The sudden encounter turned into a fierce battle. But little does Al know, Kimblee also possessed the red stone just under his tongue and the battle turned into an equal one. Alternating with Ed's very own battle with the immortal army, one of the chimera found out their weak point and everyone is attacking the lower-half of the imperfect bodies. Unfortunately, the amount of bodies kept on coming like waterfall. Meanwhile, the Armstrong siblings were fighting with both central army and the fastest yet large homunculus, Sloth. With everything come down pouring for both Al, Ed, and the armstrong siblings, Mai Chan who was being attacked by the recently revived Envy and the one-eye monsters found her way out of trouble, at least for a short while. Alternate back to the battle between Al and Kimblee, the desperation came near but the most unlikely mustache hero arrived and the life of the crimson alchemist finally ended. Al wasn't the only one who saw a light coming their way but after the endless amount of immortal army in Lab three and the worn for Ed and the others of fighting them, fire burst out from the large door. Another hand of help finally arrived. The battle STILL continue. No further progress.

Basically the previous episode was a cliffhanger this one might be a little more modest although I don't see any progress at all. Which made me cringe a little. The battles between the good and the bad had a light to them though and they're fairly entertaining and laptop-gripping (the one I hold to whilst watching. lol). Very looking forward to see the progress though and I'm liking the title for the next episode *cough*flame*cough*. Surprisingly enough, I like the previous episode better. But can't really deny the hotness and once again the encounter of Ed and Mustang!

Oh, readers! my dad is in the hospital right now, I'm hoping for him to get well VERY soon. hope everyone would wish him well too. Cheers!

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (episode 51)

Continue from the previous episode, the imperfect immortal army which had been awaken recently had gone ballistic. After Ed and co parted from Hohenheim, they decided to go to the corrupted lab but happened to encounter hundreds of legion army themselves. Without further brainstorm, they work together to finish off the one-eye monsters to get to where they originally for. Meanwhile, Al was still trapped along with Pride inside the soil dome made by Hohenheim. Completely oblivious with Pride armor-head drumming, alchemy explosions occurred and the first homunculus was able to break-free. Also, the sight of the crimson alchemist had surprised Al. Whilst both Al and Ed had their own set of battle, Mai Chan who everyone thought had made it back to Xing safely was strolling under Central and revived the trans-formative homunculus. With the newly revived homunculus and endless legion army, Either Mustang's coup d'état toward the central government, Armstrong siblings with their physical ability to stop the army in central headquarters, also the Elric brothers and their very own battles and the intrusion of the enemy, everyone true envisage toward the promised still continue.

Very sorry for the late review. Had already written everything on draft since a week ago but haven't got the chance to publish it. My personal comment. Everything seem like fall to ruin for both Ed and Al, but their dedication to end the suffering really made my day. Not to mention the secretive plan of Mustang that had been dragged on for the last few episodes finally made an act! oh and the sight of old characters too, made the episode worth every single second. Episode 52 review will be up very soon (might be a short one though). cheers folks!

First Impression: Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan

First impression entry of another spring anime I picked up is Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan. Due to the lame synopsis I did on Kaichou wa Maid-sama, this time I'm going to quote from the official website (somehow found the translated one on MyAnimeList, so huzzah!). Here it is.

MyAnimeList:

The protagonist, Yukimura Chizuru is the daughter of a doctor who works in Edo. The father leaves Edo to work as a volunteer doctor and moves to Kyoto without his daughter. As time passes by, Chizuru starts worrying about losing contact with her father, so she decides to go to Kyoto in search of him. On the way, Chizuru is attacked by few criminals and witnesses a fight between an oni and the Shinsengumi. Taking her into custody and saving her, the Shinsengumi debate on what to do with Chizuru when they discover that she is the daughter of the doctor they are also looking for. So they decide to become Chizuru's protectors and help her look for her father(the doctor). Lots of events happen while she stays with the Shingensumi, as they discover mysterious secrets and also fight against the Bakumatsu group. The story is overall romantic with a historical and political background.

First of all, the only reason why I anticipated the series was the good-looking two-dimensional dudes. Story-wise, it was something that had been numerously picked up (I scream SAMURAI). Although this one focused on the Shinsengumi (Police force in Kyoto during Bakumatsu period. details can be found here) with a spice of supernatural powers and supposedly harem romance.

So my thoughts, having the first episode as a prologue and character introduction is rather common. Although, filling a 20 minutes or so with numerous talk and flashbacks and less present actions or battle turned the series quite humdrum. Apparently, it's not comedy. If the background story wasn't interesting I'd throw the series into the bin without hesitating. The introduction of characters was rather lovely. Not just by the looks, but their outer personality was just enough to tell each other apart. Though it's hard to make a sudden decision which one I'll root for.And for a reverse harem series (apparently so?), I'd rather have a strong-willed, witty heroine which I didn't quite find in Chizuru. In fact, I got a little irritated with her whiny and innocence-ey character. Even so, that was just based on the first episode. I'd like to see her character develop at most compared to the others. Overall, it was quite interesting, not much I can make from the first episode though. I hope it gets better later on. Looking forward for the next episode for more actions! (and the progress of Chizuru's character!)

oh OP and ED? meh. In fact, haven't found good ones this season:/

First Impression: Kaichou wa Maid-Sama!

I decided to put a new section of the blog, which is the "the first impressions" of this spring anime 2010! Well, it's personal commentary posts regarding the first episode (could be more) of the currently airing anime this season. Not quite a review though, I might have a brief introduction to the anime but nothing goes further than that and of course, the commentary itself. So, I'm going to start with Kaichou wa Maid-Sama! (obviously because it's the first anime I currently watch that had already been subbed). Anywho, here it goes!

Kaichou wa Maid-Sama! is originally an ongoing shoujo manga serialised in LaLa magazine. The story centers around a furious female student council president in a recently-turned-co-ed school. A school with high population of boys can get a little chaotic with its already shattered place. The role of a perfectly sadist, Hitler-like student council president like Misaki Ayuzawa is needed. Although, she has a secret that no one should know. She actually works part-time at a maid cafe! What's going to happen to the role-model student president when the most popular boy from school, Takumi Usui found out about her secret? and the story of the maid president begins..

OK, so the introduction was quite lame. But let me focus on the commentary instead. So, I've seen the first episode. Oh boy how long have it been since I watch this typical shoujo anime for? years maybe? Plot-wise, just like the manga was pretty average. Typicality (girl-meet-boy) could be spot easily although I still found some of the jokes kind of funny. And that was plot-wise. Character design-wise, ugh I'm completely disappointed with Usui! (maybe the reason why I watch the anime halfheartedly. lol). I just thought he could've looked better. Misaki otherwise, look sweeter somehow. And don't you just love the three boys? So in conclusion, it wasn't the most anticipated series this season, I'm just curious since I read the manga up to volume six (currently on-hold though, due to boredom) but some are better off as manga. Yes, I'm an avid shoujo manga reader (but very picky), me and my mate are often discuss about the "Shoujo manga typicality" that's why it feels old. if you love the manga, you should definitely watch the anime, regardless how Usui looks. pfft. Film Review: Gake no Ue no Ponyo

The most recent (Technically released summer last year) film by Hayao Miyazaki of Ghibli Studio is Gake no Ue no Ponyo, literally Ponyo on the Cliff. I had the film ages ago but just got the chance, or should I say I just got hooked with the film just recently. Due to its masterpiece just like the last three decades of Hayao Miyazaki's film. I decided to do a hopefully short review of the film. Though I pretty much doubt it:P

After Totoro made onto the screen, the film set in the wonderful underwater castle and an appearance of rather eccentric looking man with long red hair and bags under his eyes. Whilst he took his children for an outing, his eldest fish-like (or human-like?) daughter who happened to look like a teru teru bozu set herself to have a secret adventure with her air-bubble vehicle and a fish engine. Without realisation, the fish (Ponyo) made into the surface of water and got dragged into shore.

Fell unconscious, a 5-year-old boy who lived just by the shore name Sousuke found her and had his finger cuts. When Ponyo woke up, she licked his finger and the name Ponyo given by Sousuke became permanent. Sousuke was just about to go to school with his mother, Lisa. With the hurriedness, he took Ponyo along. Not long after their encounter, for the first time they got separated after Sousuke had promised he would take care of Ponyo forever.

The father, Fujimoto and his magic wave finally found her but Ponyo refused to listen to her father due to the affection she already had toward Sousuke. With the feeling of pure love, Ponyo wanted to become human so she could live with Sousuke. Of course, Fujimoto disapproved of her wish. Ignoring her father disapproval, Ponyo with the help of her tiny sisters and magic, had transformed into a human child. Without knowing of the consequences the magic she had used, Ponyo rode the fish-like waves to look for Sousuke. Her powerful magic had caused huge chaos and an imbalance of the world, if it's not ceased, the world might just come to an end. Meanwhile, Fujimoto is desperately tried to end the chaos and had mustered his wife for help. Not long after, a huge but beautiful queen arrived right in front of Fujimoto's eyes. Ponyo on the other side, was enjoying her life as a human girl along with Sousuke and his mother, Lisa. However, the night didn't end peacefully, the storm kept on coming and swallowing the bay town. This had made Lisa worried. As she is completely sure of her son and Ponyo's life, she decided to check upon the elderly at her workplace. And left the Ponyo during her deep sleep and Sousuke at home.

Tired from all the commotion, the two kids woke up and realised now the city had drowned and ancient creatures had filled in the water. Still hasn't had a sight of Lisa, Sousuke and Ponyo decided to look for her to her workplace. The moon is near, the land had vanished. Ponyo's magic work too magnificently. As the kids arrived, they were taken to an Eden underwater where they found the elderly ladies run happily and of course Lisa and Ponyo's parents. Whilst they were discussing important matter, Sousuke summoned by the Queen of Sea to vow for his eternal love toward Ponyo so she could become a normal human girl. An innocent 5-year-old Sousuke, without hesitation, declared his vow and Ponyo's smile couldn't get any wider. Last but not least, a kiss is finally sealed and everyone had the widest smile they could ever have. THE END

OK, time for personal commentary. Two thumbs up for another installment of Hayao Miyazaki's film. It's truly a masterpiece. whether it's plot-wise or art design/character design-wise it surely is a wonderful film. As you can probably see, compared to Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away, this one is definitely aimed for children under ten. It reminds me of The Little Mermaid although in less princess-ey way. Much less, apparently. It's very heart-warming and sweet. Whereas, most animated films these days had subliminal message which I'm not quite fond of. Even though I'm quite an adult for these particular films. Anyhow, If you haven't watch this film, you should definitely check it out. it's worth it. I wonder why I didn't get to watch it soon though. I'd rate the film 8.5/10. Truly brilliant!

Spring Anime 2010

The most anticipated anime season is here folks! Now that most anime from autumn 2009 and few from winter 2010 had come to an end, the brand new ones are filling in the spot.

I've picked up a few titles. Including the second season of K-ON! and Ookiku Furikabutte, Arakawa Under the Bridge, Working!!, Hakuouki, Maid-sama and Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei.

A bit of info for those who watch Animax Asia. Tuned in this Sunday ( 4 April, 8:30 SEA/7:30 WIB) for the premiere of Maid-sama as Animax's same-week simulcast this spring.

(Personal Note: Not particularly my favourite, even almost permanently drop the manga, but rather than watching it online, the good ol' tv is the way to go, methinks...)

I will somehow manage to watch the series. I failed to keep updated with Durarara!! and Katanagari this season:( Still put the two series on-hold though. Hopefully, I'd be able to resume to the series during my holiday (which won't happen until July *sighs*). Still continuing with Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Sadly only 13 episodes left and I haven't even got the chance to watch the last two episodes.

Anyhow, regarding the episodic reviews, it's still undecided, I doubt I'll do more than two though. but we'll see. ah and completed series reviews soon (late april). That's it for the Spring Anime post folks. Additional info will be extended on a separate post. Ta!

April Fools' Day!

Hello folks! long time no see! Apologise for the lack of updates :( (I wish I don't have to keep mentioning this every time I post *sighs*) Anywho, let's start an April post with something related to the classic April Fools' Day. Did any of you got fooled? by your mates or someone completely out of your mind? I sure did! Although, not by someone close by but by Muse!

I'm sure if you're a constant visitor of the muse.mu message board you'd get hit in the nail on the very day. As I'm not an active member and I had a full day of uni on April 1st, so I got fooled the day after. To sum up my stupidity, I even mentioned my excitement on twitter BEFORE I listened to the songs! Yes, I'm that much of a moron when it comes to something as great but fake as "Exogenesis Part 4".

I'm spilling the beans here. So what is Exogenesis Part 4? well, the sub-title is Salvation. As for the music, it's an overlap of Bruch Violin Concerto no. 1 and a very bad toilet-voice (cover?) of Creep by a 13-year-old. Supposedly taken from the wonderful world of intenet (Radiohead. HA!). So yes, my ear bleeds. The prank came up with two other songs. The written titles are Feeling Good (live from Sheffield), which turned out to be a live recording of MK Ultra, didn't know whether their doing this on purpose, but the intro was rather off:/ and the other one is Guiding Light (Costey edit). It's GL alright, but I don't think Rich Costey would sped up the song and made it sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks. In conclusion, it was a prank Muse had pulled for us. And all we got were a good laugh for the day and MK Ultra!

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (episode 47)

Where the hell have I been?! Other than my massive amount of coursework, I just happened to neglect the blog for no particular reason. Anyhow, after nearly skip an entire 10 episode reviews of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, I'm back with my usual not-too-long reviews of the current episode! I'm trying not to drag it until the very last minute like I did for the past few episodes this time. So bare with me folks! lol here's the review!

continuing from previous episode (although, review is unavailable in this blog *sighs*) Alphonse Elric was taken away by both Selim and the surprisingly revived Gluttony during his dormant period the day before the "promised day". Meanwhile, Edward and his gang (yes, Greed/Lin included) went to Kanama and once again encountered with none other than Hohenheim. Although, with Ed's dissatisfaction toward his father, he still surprised by the teary confession regarding his body and the philosopher stone. Later on, Ed, Greed, and the two chimeras were about to make their move until they were interrupted by the odd appearance of Al. Ed's happiness didn't last long until Al attacked him but the true lies behind the shadowy hands of the first homunculus, Pride. Starless sky and Ed's clever idea had temporarily stop Pride's action. But an unexpected heavy-weight homunculus appear beneath the moonless sky. As everyone began to panic, an unexpected hero and her newly made automail had arrived. The smile on Lin's face couldn't get any wider.

Woah, a review and commentary after two months on hiatus! Well, the episode pretty much a bridge episode to the "promised day". If it were to be presented on the next episode, I don't see any bold plans from the people against the military though. Whether it was Ed or Mustang in Central. Except for Grumman's unexpected sly thoughts for some odd reason. Overall, the comebacks of both villains and protagonis, In this case, Gluttony and Lan Fan made a grin on my face like Lin did. Very much looking forward for the "promised day", it has been three episodes already it made me cringe! let it be it episode 48! (I did contradict myself from the previous statement though. haha)

I have the need to testify my lack of updates lately...Other than the friggin amount of work it's the two anime Gintama and Saiunkoku Monogatari (odd combination eh?) which had finally caught my attention. I've been wanting to watch the anime yonks ago but couldn't be bothered by it until last weekend (Gintama) and four more episodes for Saiunkoku! yeh, just some random shiz (ha ha shiz). I should've post something soon too. well Ta folks!

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (episode 44)

Hmmm, where to begin? I haven't updated the blog for nearly two weeks. I skipped an episode or two for the reviews, nor I have any other posts regarding personal issues. In general, I haven't update anything at all. What am I doing? Pretty much neglecting the blog and anime (sort of). Well anyhow, after watching three episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood in a day, here's a short reviews for the latest episode. Enjoy!

After Al and the others parted away from Scar and Marcoh, Al arrived at Lior. Once again, he encountered Rose and welcomed warmly even after what the town had been through. After a brief conversation, an unexpected person came which shocked both Al and the glasses man that resembles Ed. The person is none other than Van Hohenheim and the truth behind his glasses revealed to his dear son. Meanwhile, the missing Ed finally fully recovered after he badly wounded during the battle he had with Kimblee earlier. Just when he thought he could continue his journey to meet Al for once in for all, the military seemed to sense his presence. Alchemy and two rather large bodyguards had caught the military off guard and the three were able to escape and moving on. Back in Central, the recently awakened homunculus took action and the guilt upon killing his half-reptile friend has once again cause a rampage and personal hatred.

No personal commentary this time. actually I started to notice the unpublicized post of mine right after I post the latest episode (ep. 47). Rather than leaving this one as draft, I publish it anyway. Might be a little too outdated, but hey, better than nothing. Cheers folks!

Nodame Cantabile Finale (episode 2)

Auclair sensei's a root? exposed bum? and a chain of happy bunnies? yes, these are the imagination Nodame had whist playing Tristan "La Mandragore". After thoughtlessly fell asleep on campus, Nodame remembered about the call the other day. Her brilliant performance at St. Malo attracted one of the guest and invited her over to play. With a gig in hand, Nodame decided to buy a roasted chicken she had crave for celebration. Meanwhile, the constant noise from Chiaki's flat has reach its limit so Chiaki decided to permanently move to a new place. Same in the evening, Nodame accidentally heard the news and fell to her knees. Chiaki who was also in shocked for not telling her earlier embraced her. the moon, tears, and Chopin Nocturne Op. 9, No. 2 filled the air. Surprisingly, Nodame came to an understanding and the life of the odd couple living apart after four years has began. As days were back to normal, Rui whom currently study at the conservatoire was very persistent to receive lessons from Auclair sensei. Just as she thought she'd get her insecurities fade away, Nodame's practise performance and the arrival of the last person she'd see crushed her. Only one person she had in mind that night. and the dial button is pushed and connected...

The moon scene has to be the highlight of the episode! Although it ended with the usual antics and that annoying eyes! Honestly, half of the episode is filled with Rui's life and insecurities which obviously wouldn't be as funny as if it was Nodame's. If you haven't read the manga, the cliffhanger ending is kind of annoying. I hope the screencap nor review didn't spoil anything. Oh yeah, one more unrelated blabber, as you can see, I might try to connect everything with Muse, and the fact that THE nocturne made into the anime *cough*collateraldamage*cough* made me quite happy. I also had one little coincidence, whilst typing "St. Malo" for the review, a Muse bootleg track "Sunburn" played. And it was one of the recording from La Route du Rock festival in St. Malo!! and at the very beginning Matt played Chopin's Ocean Etude. See how's everything connected and it's pure coincidence? (or probably it's just me.lol)

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (episode 42)

Al regained concousness and found himself in a small hut along with Marcoh, Winry, Mai Chan and the others. After endless nights of trying to figure out the mistery behind the document, a resolve to the mystery might head to the right direction. Meanwhile, after Kimblee succeeded the battle between him and Ed, he caught himself with the first homunculus and both plotting something as obvious as an evil could be. Whilst their evil plot remained secret, Van Hohenheim with his unberable hunger, arrived at a ruined town and encountered Rose from earlier in the series and accepted a bowl of soup. Straight to his point of his arrival, Rose lead the immortal man to the old church. Unknowingly, he encountered Pride and declared a war to end the chaos in Amestris. Just when he thought he's the only one declared a war with Father, troops from the neighbouring country, Drachma sent their troops to invade Briggs Walls with an unxepected leader behind the upcoming battle.

Having no sight of Edward would've been boring. But the episode has just about the right amount of twist and important plot, it couldn't get any less exciting. Currently, Pride seem to be the man (or kid?) behind the battles with Kimblee as his underling. Father on the other side, is sitting on his rather large seat watching each and every move of his assigned homunculus. The action take place on the next episode though. I can't wait to see.

Note: Meh. yay it's finally resumed! Let's see what I can do with the three previous episodes...Anyhow, I'm starting to do some cleaning and translating for Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume manga! (chapter 38 to be exact). Will be upload to the blog very soon!:D

Yay! My blog finally reach its 51st post! I just realised it after the Nodame Cantabile Finale 1st episodic review. Ah well, I'm just ecstatic to have reached this far.

I probably look worse than my new profile picture during my sleepless state.

As for blog task, I'm desperately trying to resume FMA Brotherhood reviews. Might not needed, but I feel slightly obliged as I went as far as I am now. Two more reviews of Nodame Cantabile Finale soon. And finding screencaps is a pain in the arse (might have to capture myself). Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume scanlating will be resume soon also. Nodame Cantabile Finale (episode 1)

A brand new anime review for the winter anime 2010 is finally set! Due to my excessive amount of projects for the upcoming term, I'm only able to do one episodic review this season. And it is Nodame Cantabile Finale. Being one of my favourite manga, anime, and live-action drama and films, I'm trying my absolute best to go all the way through. Although, I've been busy last month and weren't able to write off the first two episodes, two short recap would do. And apologise for lateness!

the long awaited season continue with a scene of Nodame herself playing the piano but then later realised she was late for Chiaki's concert with the Roux-Marlet Orchestra. After a half-naked scene of nodame, the storyline went back in time to a very noisy and overlapping sounds of piano. With the hullabaloo, Chiaki decided to leave the flat temporarily to focus on his study. Meanwhile, Nodame offered Auclair sensei a ticket to the roux-marlet orchestra concert whereas Chiaki will conduct. The day went light-speed and Nodame were practising her piano and the usual antics between the flat neighbours started to fill Chiaki's room. Awkwardly, Chiaki's dirty laundry fulfilled Nodame's weird desire. Back to the present of half-naked Nodame. She rushed to the concert hall without even bothered to put on her inner wear. Just as a mess as she is, the slight failure of the concert took away Chiaki's rational mind and poor Yunlong had a one-day ticket to have a date with Chiaki. After the commotion has ended, Nodame received a surprising call and made her go GYABOO!

As expected from Nodame Cantabile. Weird antics, classical music, and the classic GYABOO or MUKYAA! Like the previous seasons, the anime fairly focused on the storyline like the manga but like the previous as well, it skipped some rare scenes. It wasn't particularly important, but it might be worth to squeeze it in one of the episode. Nodame Cantabile never fails to make me laugh. It's good to see those old characters back. Nodame Cantabile Finale surely one of the best anime this season.

What can I say, it's great. And to be perfectly honest, this would be the first Yeah Yeah Yeahs record I've own. I'm thoroughly satisfied

Franz Ferdinand - Tonight: Franz Ferdinand

I always been a fan since the first album came out. Compared to the first two albums, it wasn't all brilliant but it is Franz Ferdinand and I enjoyed it. (I'm still neglected the fact that I didn't went to their gig last November)

Placebo - Battle of the Sun

I picked it up because they were rumoured to come to Jakarta this year. It's an easy listening album. Above average and Placebo. I have to give the album 3/5

Bat for Lashes - Two Suns

First it was Laura Marling, then Regina Spektor, now I picked up another brilliant female artist who turned up to be one of my favourite and very much worth listen to

Patrick Wolf - The Bachelor

The eccentric multi-talented musician, Patrick Wolf came back with an album and check out the first killer single and music video "Hard Times"

Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion

Another odd yet brilliant album of 2009 is AC's Merriweather Post Pavilion. Picked up the album due to recommendation on various forums and fell in love with it. Particularly "My Girls"

The XX - XX

Like Animal Collective, I found the album through forums. It's sweet, simple, and demanding. Looking forward for their next record though

Pure Reason Revolution - Amor Vincit Omnia

An album released early last year and I just couldn't resist to pick it up. It's fresh, electronic, alternative that I always find in Pure Reason Revolution

The Flaming Lips - Embryonic

This Oklahoma-based band released their two-disc record in 2009. I have to say they passed the two-disc-horrid myth. Still cling into their Psychedelic and electronic sounds with a little touch up of animal effects. Embryonic surely an "it" of 2009

Regina Spektor - Far

The one and only album that I picked up at HMV on its release date by accident. Yes, by accident. After having my ears unattached to Spektor for quite a long time. "Far" surely bring back that tingling feeling

it's very short. to be honest, every time Muse released an album on a particular year, I'd listen to fewer records. And what I had back in 2006 repeated this year. mind you, but 2010 is going to be brilliant! *cough*Radiohead*cough* and a whole of great music are ahead!

Hello folks! first word would be PHEW! (if only a blog is audible, I'd have it loud). I should've mentioned on my NYE's post how I'm dreading January due to projects alone, and now it's officially over! Anyhow, After countless of the average two hours sleep until the 'climax' of not sleeping for nearly 40 hours, I'm finally back to straighthen things up including blog updates. So here are some posts that I hope I could put up soon.

As I promised, the next post will be the best album, or should I say, the album I've listened to that were released back in 2009 and the upcoming album that will or already been released in 2010 that I will add to my record collection.

As for anime reviews, I hope I can resume with it soon. To be honest, I haven't even watch the latest two episodes of FMA Brotherhood and other titles as well. Since I can't be arsed to watch at the moment, this weekend will be it. Furthermore, winter 2010 anime has been released since two weeks ago. And I already picked up a couple of titles including Nodame Cantabile Finale, Durarara!! and Katanagatari as well as a two episodes OVA Switch. New episodic reviews will be Nodame Cantabile Finale. It's currently at its second episode, I'd write a short recap of those first two and a full review on the third, which hopefully will be posted sometime around next week.

Hello folks! this is much earlier than I expected. I plan to release this next month but I'm just so caught up with it and ended up finish a whole chapter.

Ok here's the deal, like I said earlier, this is just a random project due to boredom. I won't go more than 3-4 chapters. If I'm "devoted" enough to translate more, the furthest I could go is the whole volume. Which in this case, volume 8. Please, don't put too much hope with this. Although I'm more than happy to receive feedback from readers. I've never done any scanlating-ish things before, so excuse the common mistakes as well as grammer/spelling errors.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (episode 38)

Phew! I finally caught up with the reviews. here's episode 38. enjoy!

Continuing for the previous episode, Riza Hawkeye was still penetrated with the thought of Pride. At that very moment, she felt defenseless and the truth was still concealed. Meanwhile, Winry decided to go along with Ed and Al to complete her own mission. The Elric Brothers, Winry, Kimblee, and the military headed to the town of Baschool. As Ed original intention is to find Mai Chan, he and Al successfully escaped the military grip temporarily to an abandoned building. When he thought it'd be difficult to find Mai Chan, Surprsingly, Winry appeared from Al's armor and a blatant shriek of a little girl broke the silence. Surprised with Mai Chan's arrival, Ed began his routine antics in the middle of escape. Although, it didn't last long. Not far from where the brothers were, Scar suddenly disturbed by two armies who turned into disgusting monsters that happened to Chimeras. As he fought with the two creatures, Ed and the rest of the gang badgered their two-on-one battle to end the battle for both monsters and Scar himself. Just when he thought he had Scar cornered, an unexpected mission of Winry began. And the tension between Scar, Elric Brothers, Winry, and the military continues.

A very amusing yet a tense ending of the series. Finally, we're able to see some battles after a long wait (well, not so long). I had a feeling they'd find Mai Chan earlier than expected. But Scar seems to be the "resistance" of the series. And having Winry dragging along, emotions and verbal attack seems to play a rather huge role in the series. Or possibly on par with the battles as well. I have a feeling it'll take a while for the Elric Brothers to learn the Alkhaestry due to the constant battle of fist and emotions. Which looks like it'll take place very soon. Bring on episode 39

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (episode 37)

Zomg, it's 2010! and I have a question for you folks. How do you say the year? is it o-ten? two-ten? or two-thousand-and-ten? I personally choose the last option, because that's how you suppose to say it in Indonesian. Anywho, just as I promised last night I will write the reviews for the last two episodes of FMA: Brotherhood. Just right on time before episode 38 is airing on Animax Asia.

As Winry arrived at Fort Briggs, Both Ed and Al weren't to happy with her arrival. Little does she knows, she was actually taken as hostage by central military just so the Fullmetal Alchemist could go along with Kimblee's plot (revenge?) in capturing Scar as the "dog of the military". Of course, someone brilliant like Ed wouldn't accept the mission from the employers without hesitating and thought provoking the current situation. With much consideration and sudden shock made by both Al and Winry, Ed took the offer with a condition to bring Al along with him. Meanwhile, Major General Armstrong sent her men underground to search for the remaining army that were trapped during the carnage of General Lieutenant Raven earlier through the passage made by Ed. Back in Central, Riza Hawkeye visited The Fuhrer's house and suddenly approached by the first homunculus known as Pride. Fear and as unxpected as it could be, Hawkeye went home in silent. As the situation in the North shaken, Mustang indirectly receiving news from Armstrong to keep things in hand and dozens of roses.

The plot is keep on moving! The direct introduction made by Pride was very unexpected. I wonder whether the tattoo of transmutation circle on Hawkeye's back connects to anything related to the homunculus. Like the previous episode, this one has zero battle but it's still able to capture the viewers attention just fine. Keep each and every episode at its constant plot seem to be the trademark of an ace anime. This anime never fail to amaze me.

Hello folks! first I'd like to wish all readers a belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Although I feel sorry for myself to spend the eve of new year alone with some coursework to catch up with and music from Boards of Canada, but in the end I decided to stop. Anywho, I wasn't able to write reviews for the latest Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood episodes do tho various circumstances. I hope, even though it's sort of late, I will try to come up with something by the first day of 2010!:D

In a month or so, I'd probably upload a solo scanlation project and title is TBA (hint: shoujo manga). Although, it's very limited, my bet I won't go more than 3 or 4 chapters. Not promising? I know. But I haven't found any scanlation group continue scanlating this particular manga (hint: cafe involved). here's a one-page teaser:

Nyan Koi! (completed)

Yes! it's the recent anime I've seen. Unlike the episodic reviews I did on the other anime, this one only have one possible long post. I will also do a few others non-episodic reviews on the anime that recently completed soonish! (most of them are still on going so it'll take a while. Let's say next year!)

Anyhow, this anime revolves around the life of an average high school boy name Junpei Kousaka. The series started with a very convincing scene of Junpei and an unknown girl having an awkward moment but turned out to be a dream fantasy of the cat-allergic boy, Junpei himself. The girl later revealed to be Junpei's high school crush name Kaede Mizuno.

As he live a normal boring life a high school student would normally have, Junpei suddenly hit rock bottom by accidentally knocked down a supposedly sacred statue of a cat known as Neko-Jizou-Sama. When he thought the situation went uncomplicatedly, the cat-hater discovered a sudden ability to speak with cats! After the shocking discovery, his pet cat, Nyamsus explained his current "cursed" situation so effortlessly it almost made him fell on his knees. Therefore, in order to lift the curse of the Neko-Jizou, Junpei must accomplished one hundred good deeds for problematic cats in the neighbourhood. If he is not able to complete the deed or/if his curse were found out, he will turned into a cat himself. Not able to go near a cat within one meter radius and would constantly cause him to sneeze might be a little problematic for Junpei. But to lift the unwanted curse, his life as a cat messiah has begun.

After the whole fuss involving his curse, Junpei still bashfully pursued his crush, Mizuno Kaede. Junpei fell in love with Mizuno at first sight. Although, this particular girl has her own antics of her admiration towards cats and also her manly athletic skills. Moreover, during his double mission as a lazy high school student and a cat messiah, Junpei encountered a fair amount of women. Including his childhood friend Kanako Sumiyoshi. Kanako had an affection toward Junpei and always seemed to be considerate despite her constant violence toward him. Passed the time granting cats' wish and blushing over Mizuno made one of his senior from school jealous and ordered him to have a duel. This weird senpai is Nagi Ichinose. A tomboy senior from the track-and-field team whereas Mizuno participated in. After frequent meetings with Junpei, Nagi-senpai seemed to fall in love with Junpei as well, although she was protective toward Mizuno, her feelings toward Junpei wasn't clear. Just when the endless encounters seemed like it came to an end, Junpei encountered another girl who happened to be a part-time postwoman with no sense of direction. With the irony, Junpei found himself helping the postwoman with the delivery which also benefit him from passing a good deed toward the neighbourhood cats. This girl seemed to caught Junpei at the wrong place and at the wrong time, although Junpei didn't have the slightest clue. the LAST encounter would be the twin tail twins Kotone and Akari Kirishima. Kotone had a crush on Junpei do to his various unfortunate events. The twins have supernatural powers and they knew about Junpei's curse before hand. Went through a jagged road, desperately concealed the deepest secret until the experience of becoming a cat, and mixed emotions and love, the adventure of cat-allergic boy continue (to the second season?)

As expected from a harem-based romantic comedy anime, the plot is simple yet entertaining. a 12-episode-anime is quite worthwhile even though somehow it promised us with a second season. I did felt a slight boredom toward the end of the series. Although the last episode did pull through the disappointment I had earlier in the series. The characters were both likable and unlikeable at the same time. Even though sometimes it gets on my nerves, I still end up laughing it off at the very end of each episode. I wasn't expecting anything special on this one, but it turned out to be good. If you want to pass the time with not-so-outrageous fan-service and adorable kitties (oh kitties!), this particular anime is very watchable. 3/5 rating for this one.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (episode 36)

The episode started a little different from the previous ones we've seen. The story taken place to where Hohenheim apprehended his blissful past with Trisha and his two sons. With an immortal body of his, he had witnessed many lives and deaths although the mere appearance of Trisha changed his life. Although, he weren't able to stay any longer and he promised to come back and regrets seemed to fill the heart of this immortal soul after the death of his wife. back to where it was left off on the previous episode, Major General Armstrong was still conversing with Lieutenant General Raven regarding the immortal army. Having to conceal her real intention to draw the thinnest string of the truth, Armstrong went along smoothly with Raven's plan. Not long after his command were taking place, another blood of the corrupt military army were shed so secretly in hope for the optimum result of defending the fort and the rest of the country. Meanwhile, The Elric Brothers were still imprisoned and the common nagging of Ed suddenly drew attention of the arrogant crimson alchemist and an appearance of a surprising guest from the automail land.

This episode was partly predictable. It went along just as expected from the previous episode. Although, an alternate perspective of Hohenheim of the current situation of the plot and flashbacks we haven't seen before really does make the episode less tense. Which apparently a positive outcome of the episode. So far, it has been another great yet it felt so short installment of the series. The future of the corrupt government depend on the tense up built in Fort Briggs on this very moment of the series. How will the Elric Brothers and the other overcome the situation?

If there were awards for my reviews, Darker Than Black: Ryuusei no Gemini will most likely to win the most neglected reviews for a good series! says me anyway. Don't get me wrong, I've seen all of the episodes and it was brilliant, yet I'm having such writing block on this particular series:( True that I only watched it recently, and I feel the plot went light-speed ahead. But I have the urge to still continue to write the reviews. but the "drop" word seemed to caught my very last nerve.

It's true that for the past two weeks I wasn't able to watch ANY anime due to my projects. But xmas holiday is very close and I'm not as busy as I was last week yet I'm still disregarding the series. This is it folks, I'm dropping the reviews. Only went halfway, and I'm utterly disappointed with myself. Completed review is coming soon. The series is brilliant go and watch is my very last word:P

Holiday Season Animated Avatars Tutorial

My first tutorial post on the blog! Anywho, apparently I'm not celebrating Christmas but the fuss on santa hat avatars on forums and IM intrigued me. Since it's holiday season, many people shopped their avatars with Santa Hat, although I am much more intrigued with animated avatars by using the same exact hat. So instead of bothering your fellow forum mates and create a request thread, I'm here to present a free and simple tutorial of how to edit your own animated avatar by using GIMP.

Ed: It's xmas season, put me a santa hat, pwese

First of all you need to have GIMP installed on your computer. Don't worry, GIMP is free you can download the software here

If you already have GIMP installed on your computer then you can follow these simple steps to make/edit your avatar.

Step-by-step tutorial:

1) Open the animated GIF avatar you want to edit (I use an animated Kitty Ed as an example)

2) Open the santa hat image you are going to apply on your animated avatar. I got a selection of hats and other clip art from clkr.com. Other than the perfect size, the images on the website are royalty free, so you can use them for your own purposes.

3) After both images are open, you need to open the layer dialog of the animated avatar and create a new layer (I name the layer "santa hat ed)

4) Copy the santa hat to the new layer of the animated avatar and scale it to the most convenient size then move it to the appropriate place with Move Tool (beside scaling, you could also use rotate tool to fit your avatar)

5) After you put the hat on the right position then anchor the layer (Layer --> Anchor Layer)

6) Now focus on the layer dialog. Notice the santa hat only occurred on the "santa hat ed", now you have to duplicate more layers and merge down to the previous layer to combine the santa hat to each frame of your animated avatar.

to duplicate: right-click on the santa hat layer and click "duplicate layer". Every layer you've duplicated will have the word "copy" at the end of the name of the new layer.

Make sure the newest layer is on top of the original animated avatar layer. Then merge it down.

to merge down: right-click on the santa hat copy layer and click "merge down. Now notice the santa hat is combined with the original layer.

7) Repeat step six until each layer of the original animated avatar is combined with the santa hat layer. Remember, duplicate the "santa hat" layer (in my case, "santa hat ed"). Do not mess about with the animated avatar layers that are already been combined with the santa hat. And one more thing, when you reach the background image of the original animated avatar, use the "santa hat" layer to merge down with the background.

Now the animated avatar with a santa hat is done! the saving process is simple. When you save your new avatar, make sure the extension of the file is on .gif then there's a file export option and choose "Save as Animation" then click "Export" click the final OK and your new santa hat animated avatar is done!

Tips: If you would want to have your santa hat to move around according to your animated avatar, do not follow step seven. Instead, you should repeat step three to step six (skip the duplicate step) . Make sure you disable the layer (click on the eye symbol on the layer dialog) that you already combined with your santa hat. Do so repeatedly until you reach your background image. Cheers!

Hello folks! long time no update due to the usual uni projects that had deprived my sleeping time. Now I'm back for a little while to update the long abandoned episodic reviews which apparently NOT up-to-date at all so I'm going to make it short and absolutely less spoilers than usual *sighs*

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood episode 34

Ed and Al finally arrived at Briggs fortress and caught themselves into an interrogation with the major general herself. After a few arguments and Ed's light antics, they finally came to a conclusion and made an agreement although the Elric brothers weren't too fond with the result but they went along for the sake of truth. Taken as prisoners, The brothers toured the fortress guided by one of the army that surprisingly turned out to be an Ishvalan. Unlikely to be prisoners, Ed and Al were assigned to "clean" the place and encountered with one of Mustang's subordinate who recently assigned at the fortress. Dr. Marcoh and Mai Chan on the other side, are still trying to find their way across the cold north in search of the document Scar had told them to pursue. Not having anyone following them, the distraction mission Scar and Yoki held was a complete success. Meanwhile, Ed and Al went underground as part of the

tour but surprised by the sudden quake and an appearance of a massive monster with a Ouroboros tattoo attached to its skin. The brothers knew the fortress is going to turned inside out. There were secrets they can't possibly spill out to the major general, but with her courageous nature, masculinity, and a large tank with weapons the battle between a non-human and human begins.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood episode 35

Continue from above episode, Fort Brigg's army as well as The Elric Brothers went ahead of plan to cast out the massive homunculus known as Sloth. The usual Fort Briggs force arranged more tanks, weapon and of course the leader and her brilliant plan of soaking the monster with oil and freeze it after casted away from the fort. After the plan was brilliantl succeeded, The Elric Brothers revealed the truth they've kept ever since they arrived at the fort. As Ed deliberately provoked his own thought, a surprising transmutation circle was drawn out out a scrap of map. Meanwhile, Kimblee who was saved by an army of the fort, treated by a mysterious gold-teethed doctor assigned by Liutenant General Raven whom soon after had a defamation conversation with the major general whilst the brothers and the other force listened thoughtfully and secretely cheered as the liutenant general easily fell into the trap.

Two short post, and my post aren't exactly brilliant but I'm definitely satisfied with the last two episodes. Arguably, the most thought provoking episodes throughout the series. Considered as a shounen anime which usually revolved around endless battles, this political-based episodes are not less important compared to the other previous episodes. As more clue regarding the corrupt government revealed, more homunculus seem to appear and epic battles will take place throughout the series. Couldn't keep the comment long either, I can't wait for the next episode.

Darker Than Black: Ryuusei no Gemini (episode 7)

The government of Russia began to wonder behind the motive of professor Pavlichenko to hide his son from their clutch after they gather data in form of pictures of hidden passages in their house and laboratory. Due to these atypical evident, the government sent their allies which includes Tanya to search for the truth. Hei and Co. on the other side, were desperately try to conceal their identity so they could pass the high-guarded security in Hokkaido. Therefore they encountered with a peculiar yet normal female whom they trusted until July were taken for supposedly doll-trafficking. The emotional-unbalanced Suou decided to chase after July even after Hei told her to leave him be. But the thought of how Hei wholeheartedly trying to save Yin made Suou made her own way followed by Mao to a factory where July was taken. Tried not to attract attention, Suou took as much as weapons from her surroundings for emergency. Not long after she found July, the woman was mercilessly attacked by Suou but then interrupted by a more peculiar contractor that seemed to be involved with doll-trafficking. As he cast a spell on the three of them and the previous woman is killed, he took them away but then interrupted by the most likely hero and another fake star fell to the ground. The day is saved and their mission to Tokyo is finally resumed.

Just when I thought the storyline is going toward an odd direction for a 12-episode series, it finally got back on track! The mission to find Shion is resumed although we all only know his location since the very beginning, it hasn't gave us enough information other than that in this episode. Which I thought tad late for the fact that it's already at its mid episode. Otherwise, it's alright. I put much more effort to watch this one compared to the last one and actually looking forward to see the next installment. And one last thing, why can't Tanya has a tiny bit of emotion? wasn't she turned into a contractor like Suou does? it gets on my nerve sometimes!

Personal Note: Phew! I'm glad now I'm finally back on track with these reviews! although the critical moments for my six credits class will begin next week and the week after. So, I might abandon one or two reviews. oh and one last thing, Happy Eidul Adha for Muslim readers. Have a joyful day:D

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (episode 33)

Kimblee was uncertain towards the direction of where both Scar and Dr. Marcoh are heading. although after a brief thought and evidence were found on the forest, he was convinced they're heading north. Meanwhile, The Elric Brothers finally arrived in North City and without hesitation pulled their course towards the border as known as The Wall of Briggs. Back to Scar's pioneering plot, after he and Yoki the Marcoh's decoy got off the curvy railway that headed west, they secretly took a military train that headed north. Without further thought, Kimblee who currently in charge to look for Dr. Marcoh, recklessly pursued the train of the two people. And an one-on-one battle began to take place on the open compartment of the military train. Just when Kimblee about to make a final blow, Scar were able to pierce Kimblee's gut with a long metal rod and the battle was put on hold. On the other side, The Elric Brothers faced with the cold mountainous terrain and large automail until they reach the border. As they did, the prevailing General Major Armstrong showed up to test the ability of the Fullmetal Alchemist to enter and to cross The Walls of Briggs. The battle to pass the wall continue.

I didn't know why kept on neglecting this episode ever since it first released back on Monday. I was completely wrong! Apparently, it's a good episode. Kimblee for instance, he might be one of the greatest military alchemist during the Ishval civil war era but his ability is definitely on par with Scar. It wasn't much of a battle, but it ends in a very interesting way. The personality of the Major's sister is certainly interesting, I hope she'd turn out to be a likable character as the plot develops. Couldn't wait for a likely on par battle between these characters.

Procrastination Bracelet

After abandoned, and still abandoning the episodic reviews of both Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and Darker Than Black: Ryuusei no Gemini due to excessive amount of time focused on my midterm exams, I still found the time to make a handmade bracelet out of scrap fabrics and buttons as a result of my procrastination for my English exam!

This is how it looked like on my wrist. I found it rather awkward because my skintone and the bracelet itself are far too contrast! I'm thinking of making a few more for gifts and for myself with batik fabrics and wooden buttons. what do you think?

Darker Than Black: Ryuusei no Gemini (episode 6)

Just as he thought he had found the Izanami, Hei fell for the trap Section 3 prepared for. The other three companions on the other hand, had found the genuine Izanami and prepared to shoot like the organisation order them to do. To make sure, July identified the Izanami and surprisingly found a human-like body that happen to be Hei's previous doll. Looking rather envious, Suou aimed at the target but Hei ceased the fire and eventually missed the target. Filled with confusion and bewilderment the team ran to protect their lives as their cover blown off. With these unscripted accidents, Suou was chased by a contractor assigned from Section 3 that happened to be blood-connected with Norio, a boy that had fall in love with Suou. After a long wait, he finally reunited with his mother but unfortunately it didn't last long. Shocked, Suou ran off after she took the life of a contractor and Norio on the other hand, filled with tears for both his recent reunion with a contractor mother and the disappearance of Suou. With these unpredicted circumstances, Hei and the team decided to move forward to Tokyo as their main destination. and their mission continues.

Wow! it took me two weeks to come up with this review. well, not quite. I personally thought this episode was alright. But not the kind of direction I was hoping for for the series. Like I was predicted, Yin is finally showed up even though it was just merely her ghost (well, does she ever been completely alive to begin with?). The emotions of Hei and the confusing feelings of Suou was quite a surprise. Is her emotions will lead to jealousy? if it does, it seems unnecessary but I guess it's too early to predict. Looking forward for the progression of their mission which apparently already been released but I'm still unable to watch it. *sighs*

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (episode 32)

Ugh! I won't be able to update much due to my excessive amount of time on revising for my midterm exams. I still have three left until Saturday but can't be arsed to revise at the moment:P So here's the review of the latest episode of Fullmetal Alchemist brotherhood. Enjoy!

As Mai Chan and Dr. Marcoh are on the run to search for the "document" and Scar is desperately trying to distract the attention of Kimblee, Mustang with his new strategy waited for General Grumman whom happened to be on a very odd disguise. Meanwhile, Ed and Al were looking for some information regarding the Eastern Alchemy and received a very pleasant news from The Colonel and decided to move up north to look for Mai Chan and unexpectedly a meet-up with Major General Armstrong who guards the northern border. As Al reading through the books, he encountered the Fuhrer son, Selim Bradley. With his lively and friendly attitude, the Elric Brothers were invited for tea at the Bradley's instead of packing

for their long journey to the north. Not long after their conversation took place, The Fuhrer entered the house and the air around the house seemed heavy after the word "family" was mentioned. As the sun took its leave, The Elric Brothers begin their journey to look for the "other" truth as well as Scar and the others. The fierce battle toward the truth will soon begin.

A very well-put bridge episode. As Mai Chan appearance lessen, the classic chibi antics of Ed and the obvious disguise of Grumman really did made the funny side of the show. Although I was kind of expecting something a bit more in depth of Selim's hidden homunculus' character even for a split second, but it seems like Bones Studio decided to tease us fans with a very unnecessary introduction of this new character. Well, all in all it's just the beginning. I thought this would be the most anticipated episode this week, but it wasn't exactly what I expected. The main story arc, on the other hand is very intriguing, particularly the cat-dog chase between Kimblee and Scar. Looking forward for some action next week!

Personal note: If you're wondering where the heck is DTB: Ryuusei no Gemini review for episode 6, I still haven't got the chance to watch it. Not only my limited time for the net but also the slowness of teh frickin net on the evening. I apologise, I will watch then eventually write the review VERY SOON.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (episode 31)

With Ed exited Lieutenant Hawkeye's room, the vision of war in Ishval as well as the future plan of Mustang and Co. become clear. Regardless of their current condition. With a well-planned future, the Elric Brothers is optimistic to gain their bodies back. Meanwhile, Mustang's loyal subordinates prepared to depart onto their assigned positions outside Central. Even so, Mustang is confident to reach the top. On their way to their room, The Elric Brothers encountered Lan Fan's grandfather whom intended to get his one-arm granddaughter back. After their short reunion, the two left Central to get an automail to replace Lan Fan's arm. At the other end of the story, Kimblee who happen to be arrested for a while, is upon released by Envy for a certain mission regarding Scar and Marcoh. The human bomb himself couldn't resist to get to the bottom of it. As both killing machines in search for Scar and Marcoh, Scar himself freed Marcoh for his personal entity and did a considerate matter regardless how much pain he caused Dr. Marcoh. Without further a do, both him and Marcoh decided to go north in search for the missing "document" Scar's brother left during the civil war. Another truth behind the red stone might reveal as soon as they find "The Document"

Seriously I just have to. Is this the hottest angle or what?!

I am quite pleased with this episode. So many things going on but everything seems in its right place and properly organised. I thought the departure of Mustang's subordinates might've been ignored, but it was simply explained even for a few minutes. Although it was short, the arrival of Dr. Nox's son and his wife on the entrance did make me shed a little tear. Also, The Document seems like a huge deal to the series that might open a new perspective and supposedly powerful. Chasing game had already started as well, we'll probably see more battles soon and the next-week-preview looks really promising. Finally a new character is going to get a spotlight. Someone with a huge jolly grin on his face might've been one of the most powerful homunculus?

Film Review: Tokyo Sonata

My very first film review!

Recently I've seen an prize-winning Japanese film by Kiyoshi Kurosawa called Tokyo Sonata. I have to say it started out slow, but it turned out to be quite dramatic even with the same pace as it was intended. Anyhow, it's a story about an ordinary middle-class Japanese family caught up in various circumstances and how each member of the family overcome the current situation and move on with their lives.

Ryuuhei Sasaki lost his job due to the job cuts at his previous company. Afraid to tell his wife, Ryuuhei decided to keep "going out" from the house but only to kill time at the free meal block, the library, and other various places in the city. Although, he did try to search for a job, but nothing suits him. As life passed by like nothing happened, Ryuuhei met his grade school friend who happened to be in the same struggle as he is. Living the days of unemployment distressed both Ryuuhei and his friend whom later died due to a double suicide he commited with his wife. Horrified and desperate, Ryuuhei found a job without second thought as a cleaner at a local mall.

As for the family, the mother Megumi, is a lonely house wife that just got her driver license even though the family themselves doesn't have a vehicle to drive. Their children, Takashithe oldest son is unsatisfied with his life and decided to do something for the society by joining the army for the U.S. Ryuuhei, of course denied his request and burst in anger with his son's wish. But with the support of Takashi's mother, he went away without any sheer of regrets. On the other hand, Kenji the second son, has fascination with Piano and secretly attend piano lessons by using his lunch money to pay for the tuition. With his pure talent, Kenji's piano teacher sent a recommendation later addressed to his parents. And by the time Ryuuhei open the letter, he burst up in anger and became violent toward Kenji. Without further rationalisation, Kenji fell over the stairs and taken to the hospital for minor concussion.

Just as Megumi lost her hope for both her abroad son and her family, a burglar showed up at their house and demanded for cash. Tired and tied with duct tape, she explained faintly about the cash she doesn't possesed at that exact moment. not long after her confession, the burglar promptly took off his mask and bewildered with the current situation and took Megumi from the house to drive his stolen car. without any destination to reach, Megumi entered the mall to buy some food but only to find her husband who hurriedly running toward the change room. on the same day, Ryuuhei ran endlessly to hide his shame and nearly got hit by a van and unconsciously drifted on the edge of the road. Thoughts if ending their lives crossed both of these people, but the will to start over seemed to overcast the thought of suicide. Both Megumi and Ryuuhei found themselves alive and finally decided to start over.

Kenji who on the previous night got arrested for fare-steal, got to the empty house and sat dumbfounded on the dining table. Not long after, Megumi arrived and offered breakfast which she promptly made. Ryuuhei for that matter, woke up in the middle of the road and returned something he doesn't deserve and went home. As the three family members reunited in their very home, The new life of Sasaki family started over for good.

Four months later, Ryuuhei and his cleaner uniform, work to paid for the life of his family. Continuing the life of a wife and a parent, Megumi received a letter from Takashi who finally had a clear vision of his future and decided to stay in The U.S. Just as the films ends, Kenji is in the middle of an audition for a music school followed by the appearance of the proud parents of the Sasaki family as the exit the building of the audition room with the beautiful sound of Suite bermasque by Debussy. THE END

Honestly, I bought this film two months ago and didn't bother to touch it for no particular reason. I don't regret watching this film, on the contrary I actually quite pleased. The slow, calm and quite plot remind me of Darjeeling ltd. which I adore. I've never seen any other work by this director, although based on reviews that I've read, it says that this particular film, Tokyo Sonata is different from any other works in term of character. But I'm intrigued to check some of his work (even though it might be hard to find here!). No further words for this film, I'd give it 3.5/5

Darker Than Black: Ryuusei no Gemini (episode 5)

Ah first of all, I'd like to apologise with these alternating posts between Fullmetal Achemist Brotherhood and Darker Than Black: Ryuusei no Gemini. I honestly couldn't think of a proper post other than those two series.

Anywho, continuing from the previous episode, Kirihara went on a secret mission to the late star-gaze headquarter in search of the missing star. Unexpectedly, she met a woman with a handful of information regarding the disappearance of BK-201 and the anti-contractor weapon. Just as the night ends, Suou was still practicing her shooting and surprisingly got caught up in Hei's expectations. Furthermore, as Hei tried to release Suou from her mood swing and

obviously from being a child, Hei offered a mission that both Hei and Suou will overcome regarding a weapon known as "Izanami". A weapon that has a connection with Section 3, and possibly another side-mission to lure Hei from his hiding place after the organisation found out whereabouts and with whom he is currently with. As Suou, July, and Mao escaped by the sea, and Hei trying to snatched "Izanami", the mission continues.

Great installment! Just when one secret is about to reveal, another one comes and it definitely made the show much more interesting than it already was. When I heard a phrase "a contractor try to be a human" it kind of reminded me of Hei, both him and Suou didn't notice the difference between them and other contractors. And that's how it made the anime alive. Little humour regarding Suou's cooking earlier on the show did made me grin a little, because since the very first season there weren't many light jokes to keep the show fun but still serious in a certain way. One of the anime this season that I eagerly anticipated each week! (even though I watched it a little later than the release date!). Looking forward for next week!

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (episode 30)

Quite unattached to the previous episode. This one started with the past of Roy Mustang by the time he became a state alchemist. Surprisingly, the one who taught the basic of Alchemy was the father of his loyal subordinate, Riza Hawkeye and happen to be under his care after the death of her father. Meanwhile, filled with doubts regarding Winry, Ed decided to return the pistol he borrowed from Hawkeye, and another inconvenient truth is nearly revealed. After a brief greeting, the conversation moved on into a more complex matter regarding the Ishval War. And of course in the perspective of a sniper, Riza Hawkeye herself as well as Mustang and Hughes. The guilt of annihilate the Ishvalans was a nightmare amongst them, with inferiority as a mere soldier, ordinary people like Mustang and Hawkeye were the only one that could change the future of Amestris. At the other end of the story, Scar encountered with Marcoh that happened to be part of the Ishval War and discovered the truth behind the red stone. Years after the Ishval War, the inferior soldier is still determined to climb to the top to change the present into a brighter future. Even if it dragged hell along with it. People must live in peace and eliminate the power of military.

It was delightful to discover the past of Roy Mustang, since it wasn't mentioned much on the previous episodes. And the close relationship between him and his subordinate, Riza was also explained in a clear way although no romantic feelings attached. Seeing the Ishval War in an open-minded perspective were give the anime a new light regardless it was still wrong to begin with. I'm satisfied in a calmer way. The plot isn't actually moving, but it was clearly explained the very basic induction of the other protagonist involved in the Ishval War.

Kirihara finally met her co-workers for the section 3 branch she currently taking part in. Although, The truth behind the disappearance of bk-201 seem to be much of a blur, and so does the branch she is working with. but in order to get the information she seeks, she is willing to take part. Meanwhile, Hei, Suou, Mao and July arrived in Tokyo, and for some reason Hei is there to train Suou to become a potential contractor in order to survive. Suou refused Hei at the beginning, but couldn't flee because the only way she can get through Shion is to be with him and randomly abused for the guilt Hei is carry for an unknown reason. Whilst she's in train, some group of street gangster appear and one of them happened to fancy her in a very odd way. Unfamiliar with feelings, not as a contractor, but as a person just reach her puberty, Suou mistook a guy name Nori as a thread. Without further notice, she nearly attacked him using her contractor power. Filled with confusion and battered with Hei's slap earlier, she questioned Mao about her current feelings and battled up her hatred towards Hei. Alas, she decided to stay for a wishful reunion with her twin brother, Shion.

This episode wasn't exactly the most important one and plot is actually running in slow pace. Although, I was quite pleased with this episode even though most people thinks it was too girly. Battled up with emotions as a contractor isn't rare as the main character of Darker Than Black, so it was quite common for Suou to feel uneasy with her new self. Alrighty, short comment on this one. Looking forward for Kirihara and her Section 3 team on the next episode!

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (episode 29)

After the Elric Brothers were able to escape from Father clutches, they were lead to central by Envy to meet Wrath, which still hold a position as The Fuhrer. Took both Al and Ed by surprise, the colonel was also there to discuss the important matter about the human sacrifices. Midway through the conversation, Ed decided to quit but took back his statement due to The Fuhrer threaten him about the matters of Winry. Mustang in the other hand, decided to stay as the dog of the military for the time being. After the short discussion ended, Al, Ed, and Mustang went their separate ways. After the meeting, Ed decided to call Winry in Rush Valley but turned out to be alright. As Ed and Alphonse went their own ways, Alphonse took Mai Chan to the doctor that currently treating Lan Fan for her injury. But having a princess from The Chan Clan of Xing and an escort from The Yao Clan of Xing only made a mess on the doctor's house. Signing the peace treaty, both girls were forced to rest due to their condition. Ed on the other hand, recovered his Alchemy and wondered around with doubts and questions revolving around the red stone, Scar, Mai Chan to attain the body of his beloved brother, Alphonse.

This episode was alright. The matters that were thrown out were the ones we already knew from the previous episodes. And the questions both Scar and Ed had about the current situation were the same questions I've been had for the last couple of weeks as well. So in conclusion there were nothing new. The appearance of Winry wasn't too surprising as well, but the way she took Ed now is different but we all knew she already falling in love with him. I'm looking forward to see the development of how both took each other when they meet. Well, that's all I can say about this episode. Wasn't too surprising but all in all it was alright. oh I haven't mention that Lin is transformed into a homunculus as Greed, although he somehow able to control the monster, hence the message he gave to Lan Fan. That's all folks!

Darker Than Black: Ryuusei no Gemini (episode 3)

Hei fell into the trap of the unknown contractors as his activity was being analysed. The present of Suou seem to failed the system, and without hesitation, Suou took hei away from the trap and they were disappeared from the sight of the unknown. Woke up in a cramped room, bare-chested Hei suddenly became violent and decided to tie Suou. As emotions took over Suoh, she questioned the disappearance of her brother and the death of her father and eventually came to a conclusion of Hei's nature and cried herself to sleep. The next day, as she still tied up, she woke up with the sound of her mobile phone but suddenly turned off by Hei. Another clue of the exact location of her brother Shion is revealed, and hei decided to take Suou to the destination. Little does she know, the government seemed to locate both Suou and Hei as they were trying to escape. The three unknown contractors seemed to barge on their business as well. And the battle to snatch Suou's possession continued and BK-201 star is disappeared instead of falling. Encountered with Tanya who happened to kill her best friend, Nika; The necklace that Suou wear suddenly ignited, and a huge rifle suddenly appeared and another unknown contractors and dolls seem to sense the power. Before her motive to kill contractors retaliate, Suou were taken by Hei for escape and she finally turned into a contractor with the company of the recently dead contractor's doll, July.

I still don't know how to describe this current episode. It was between epic and brilliant. I just couldn't understand why many people complain the lack of character development on Hei and Yin whereabouts hasn't revealed yet. Although I'm partly agree about how Yin hasn't been showed yet, I hope it doesn't get dragged until the middle of the series. I do have a complaint though, why does the power of the new contractors are far too bizarre compared to their remuneration? Suou for example, the huge rifle that suddenly appeared nearly caused me a heart attack, I don't think it was cool at all. and The unknown woman contractor with the ignited sword, I could've sworn I just saw a jedi earlier. I'd rather see something odd and original instead of ripping-off other films and added more cheese on top of it. Anyhow, enough with the series rant. I have to say I'm pleased with Suou's remuneration, after the first season I had a brief thought whether it's possible or not to fold an origami as a remuneration, because it'll be quite unique and cool. Well, my own little fantasy came true. Looking forward for next week. More reviews to come! Sorry couldn't keep it short AGAIN.

Twilight Saga: New Moon Soundtrack

With much respect for Twilight fan, I will not use harsh words in writing this post. Seriously, I've never been a Twilight fan, let alone the other sequels. but the new moon soundtrack intrigued me so I decided to write hopefully, a short entry.

Ever since the rumour Thom Yorke going to participate on the new moon soundtrack, and Muse obviously lined up for it again; I already decided that I will listen through. Finding other bands like BRMC, The Killers, and Grizzly bear literally made me squeal like a little twilight fan for completely different reason.

If you're an indie music fan, or simply a fine music fan in general, you might want to check this soundtrack out! I personally can't wait to listen to another Thom Yorke's song. As a side note, Feeling Pulled Apart by Horses and Hollow Earth are also great tracks!

The filler episode was probable made some fans annoyed, but the story is back on track again. So after Al and Gluttony passed through a handful of Chimeras on their way to meet Father, they finally arrived. As Gluttony shouted for Father, Al confounded with the appearance of Father that looked just like his father Van Hohenheim. Before Gluttony had the chance to introduce one of the sacrifice, his stomach expanded and three beings that appeared to be Envy, Ed, and Lin Yao made a sudden appearance. Ed obviously had the same reaction as his brother did but then interrupted by Father who casually acquainted himself to the Elric brothers. Much filled with annoyance, Ed tried to attack Father but alas. Lin on the other hand, was chased by Gluttony but his sudden reaction intrigued Father. And his longed dream as the immortal prince of Xing finally came true. After the shocking transformation of Lin, the group disturbed by the appearance of Scar and Mai Chan that confusingly able to use their power against Father. With more guest that appear to irritates Father and another truth had been revelad the battles continue to occur between the pure and evil.

This episode really does bring the disappoinment toward the previous episode to its normal state. It's even better compared to those earlier episodes whereas the new circumstance were introduced. I'm pretty much satisfied with this come-back episode. The jokes of Mai Chan's imagination of Ed was hilarious as well. Witty little girl and her cute panda brought the lighter side of the anime. Although the character Scar is still blur, which in times I found a little irritatating but smart with the grey area he's in on the anime. Looking forward for the next episode. Hopefully as good as this one.

Continued from the last episode, As Suou witnessed the extermination of Bella, she was petrified with the man with a mask as he approached her. Not long after demanding his request, a woman contractor battled him but came to retreat. Suou on the other hand, heard a mischievous voice and decided to follow through. Not long after, she encountered with a Japanese man but saved by an expected folk. Looked rather desperate, she went to a friend's house but only to find another worse news she could possibly had in a day. Exhausted, she bumped into a friend that happen to be the only one that remembers her and she came along. With the photo she had taken earlier, she decided scattered the fliers she made the night before. As she pasted them on the wall, the crippled man she was looking for arrived, which was obviously Hei. And with his human personality, he demanded the same thing he asked last night but it was denied by Suoh and the mistaken identity was revealed. Not long after he discovered the truth, a contractor known as the "magician" arrived, he battled with Hei but it wasn't exactly his lucky day that day. Just as Hei thought the battle is finished, the Japanese man Souh met the night before and the government came to attain the same element. The baffled Hei decided to take Suoh into a saver place. When he thought he could run away, traps that were put earlier by the woman he battled the night before caught his step and the memory of Yin appeared as he struggled to survive.

This show might be better that I had expected. The plot is just like I had predicted, a one concluded story that might be better than the first season. Although there weren't many signs of character development of the new characters. Especially Suoh. And I was tad disappointed that the "magician" didn't get much scene since he was introduced, or shown in the first episode. I thought he was going to stay a bit longer on the series. Without further complain, this episode surely a brilliant one. Looking forward to see the next episode. Oh and I'm sorry I couldn't keep it short like I promise lol

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (episode 27)

People, dance, and bonfire. This episode brought us to a dream where Pinako was young and surprisingly tall, as well as Ed's father, Hohenheim who obviously doesn't look different from the present at all. Alternately, this episode is filled with past battles and flashbacks of the previous episodes involving the life of the homunculi, the existence of people like the Elric Brothers, Roy Mustang, Lin Yao, and Scar. As an evil appearance of "Father" haunted Hohenheim, hopes and fears filled the air which also alternated with the hopes and motivation of different characters and ended with a clarity of the story so far.

I honestly think this episode was quite average yet beautiful. I don't think anime like Fullmetal Alchemist, nor any other anime for that matter need this certain kind of filler to be considered as an "episode". Although looking back at those battle scenes and every reason of chaos really does bring a new light of the confusion of the past, which isn't necessary, but wouldn't hurt if they were mentioned. The only new information I get from this episode is the emotion and Hohenheim's point of view towards the plot, which surprisingly interesting. Instead of having point of views of the current characters, like Ed and Mustang. Moreover, the opening theme is not as enjoyable as the previous ones. Although, it wouldn't be such a big deal. The next episode should continue where it left off last week. Certainly couldn't wait any longer for that time to come.

The series started out with a prologue of the Pavlichenko twins in Siberia during the Tokyo explosions and how one of them turned into a contractor. As two years has passed after the explosions, a familiar MI6 agent that seem to be in a mission encountered with a possible fellow contractor with an alias "Magician". The Pavlichenko twins on the other hand, Suou in particular is living her daily life with her friends, passing times with hopes and dreams. Although she seemed to reach a dead end whenever she meets her brother's eyes. Without any sign of awkwardness, one of Suou's friend, Tanya attacked her lover and pulled her own hair right after which resembles a sign of remuneration of a contractor. With that put aside, Suou father's laboratory seemed to be under invasion of a secret organisation. In fear, Suou went through a secret passage and followed the instruction of her brother, Shion for an escape. Just as she escaped, she overheard a one-way conversation of her father and an unknown man, that, according to a doll, July "a man with a mask". Not long after the conversation, Suou found her dead father followed by a MI6 agent, known as April. Like the man with a mask, April were also looking for Suou's brother Shion as well as the secret organisation that ordered a light-speed contractor to obtain him and the two started to fight with their power. Not long after April's victory, the long haired masked man appear and another star was falling from the sky. BK-201 returned.

The first half of the episode was flat and tad unflattering. As if the story was going to turned into another version of x-men. But the invasion and sudden appearance of Hei, which I thought would never show up, made the first episode quite impressive. Instead of having one story for two episodes, this season Darker Than Black seem to have one concluded plot that will take 12 episodes and 4 OVAs of hopefully, another great installment. I'm already satisfied with the new main character, I hope Suou will develop into a much fitted character as she encountered with Hei. It was tense and enjoyable, I can't wait for the next episode!

Note: Possibly the longest recap and detailed one I've ever done. It will possibly only occur on the first episode. I won't spoil it as much as this one for the next episode. Cheers for reading!

The newly aired anime I currently watch are on MyAnimeList and I've decided which anime I should review this season. First off is Darker Than BLACK: Ryūsei no Gemini, it's the second installment of Darker Than Black and it's the anime I've been anticipated for this season and happen to be air today in Japan (8 October). The second one would be Winter Sonata, it's the anime adaptation of a successful Korean drama that will be air on 17 October. And other possible reviews might surfaced along the way because based on the first episode of the currently air anime I'm watching, most of them had made a good impression on me. And not to forget that I will still continue making reviews of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood which still impress me thus far.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (episode 26)

Envy went ballistic and countlessly attacked Lin and Ed. But with his sword skill, Lin bashed Envy's disgusting monster flesh effortlessly. Ed on the other hand, was mesmerised with the skull-like feature and begging voice from Envy's very own body and sunk in. Meanwhile, Mustang was still with King Bradley and learning the true history behind the existance of the general today. Al on the other hand, along with Gluttony and Xiao Mai went underground to meet "Father" without recognising they were being followed. As Ed almost being swallowed by Envy, the appearance of a red stone caught his eye the three living beings might be able break-free from the dungeon of blood and return to the real world.

I thought my summary was horrible but I couldn't do it any better. Sorry if it disappoints you folks. Anyway, after two episodes of the beginning of the new circumstances, we finally move on to a more complex plot on the series. Even without much battle and the fact that Envy wants to cooperate to save himself from the fake gate and the appearance of Al's body and how emotinally high Ed gets made the episode quite an epic one. One of the secret revealed and I can't wait until Lin and Ed are returning to the real world!

Valkyria Chronicles (Final Episode)

After Alicia's reckless attack and ended up captured by Maximilian, Welkin and Squad 7 as well as a surprising guest Faldio went on a mission to save her at the headquarter. With their defying strategy, the squad 7 lured the army out of the building and have Welkin in search for Alicia on his own. Not quite succeeded with the plan and almost got himself killed by the army, Faldio arrived with his reckless shooting skills and offered himself as a decoy and let him sacrified his life for the life of Alicia and the happiness of Welkin. Not long after Welkin's encounter with Faldio, he finds Alicia and Maximilian and his man-made Valkyria weapons. Their brief reunion was interrupted by Maximilian's offer to have a duel between Alicia and him. Over consumed by her own power to protect the most important person in her life, Alicia almost put Maximilian on the edge of life. But the megalomaniac would rather end his own life than having it crushed by another. Still overwhelmed with her current state, Alicia went emotional but Welkin were able to control her. With that, the war is finally ended. and they all live happily ever after. sounds like a fairytale, isn't it?

To be perfectly honest, I was rather disappointed with this episode. The last two episodes to be exact. The end was too rushed and predictable but the short epilogue of the series might've save its own charm. On the original storyline, Faldio went suicidal by falling along with Maximilian in order to kill him. But on the anime, they barely shown his fate. Which was bizarre, because it wasn't as emotional as it could be. The rest of the episode was fine especially the part I've been waiting for so long *cough*kiss*cough*. Although I still find the one from the game better.

Overall, I was going to give this anime a four-star rating. But the disappointment of the last episode made the anime lose a point. Even the epilogue wasn't enough. so I give it 3/5. I enjoyed the anime thoroughly, even though there were a few "normal" episodes but there are also good ones and awesomely tear-jerking. Just not lived up to its potential.

Note: I apologise for the lack of updates for the last two weeks. Uni kills me! and my two Sundays are fully scheduled for Jak-Japan Matsuri for its Japan week specials!:D oh and I'll upload a proper screen-cap later.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (episode 25)

Continuing from the last episode, Ed was desperate to seek a way out of the pool of blood. As he grumbled about the "idiotic prince", Lin suddenly appeared. Together, they were searching for an exit of the wall-less womb of blood. Not long after their headstrong attempt, an uninvited living guest appeared. Envy the homunculus declared the inconvenient truth regarding the Ishval war and the agitated Edward Elric attempted to charge Envy but he suddenly turned into something ugly. Meanwhile, Mustang the "sacrifice" were trapped with the corrupt general as his subordinates discovered the unwanted order from the general himself. With all these insane situations, the remaining survivor of Gluttony, Alphonse Elric and the lost little panda also discovered a slice of truth behind father figure of the homunculi.

It's the "bridge" episode between the previous one to the upcoming one. I wouldn't want to call it a filler either because there are a few informations regarding the homunculi and the creator which happen to be a basic start to the new circumstances Elric Brothers as well as Mustang must behold. It was an average installment with less intense battle yet important. Oh and the humour worked really well along the storyline! Looking forward for the next episode.

Valkyria Chronicles (episode 25)

After the dramatic suicide committed by Selvaria and Alicia were believed to be dead, Maximilian invade Marmota with the secret weapon that were yearned for the last few episodes. Squad seven taking part as the resistance in order to get in touch with Alicia but they received an unwarranted news provided by Maximilian. Welkin, with all his confident still believe the existence of Alicia. With squad seven still wanting to resist after the announcement by Maximilian, the all-mighty deadly weapon of Valkyria released but the deus ex machina arrived just in time. With her true bold intention to protect her loved ones, Alicia attacked the deadly weapon but alas. As she taken by Maximilian's army, Welkin, a surprising guest, and the rest of squad seven fighting with all their might to attain her back.

This anime certainly take all the good things until the very end. Even after everything gets interesting, they still have the gut to put a "normal" episode. This episode in particular is beyond normal. Although, considering as the last battle of the war, there weren't many signs of blood sheds and bombings. Which obviously lacking the real war but the episode itself didn't lose it's charm. I enjoyed it, but I secretly wish Alicia would arrive sooner. I still hope for a miracle of amazement on the last episode. aaah it's going to end next week!

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (episode 24)

King Bradley's failure to execute the Prince of Xing made the first appearance of Pride, not in person but through a voice. A figure of his adopted son, Selim is shown for the first time. Back to where it ends on the previous episode, Gluttony went ballistic and attempted to eat Mustang for revenge. The Elric brothers and Lin Yao decided to leave Gluttony to them until Envy arrived and both brothers and Lin Yao had separate battles against two homunculi. Meanwhile, the colonel went to Central to seek a way to avenge Hughes and he finally understands how corrupt the military of Amestris is. The battles weren't exactly successful because both Ed and Lin end up in a pool of blood of the glutton.

Another cliff-hanger episode of the series. It wasn't as emotional and tense as the previous one, but it's certainly understandable due to the new circumstances most characters are having. The appearance of Pride and re-appearance of Dr. Marcoh will determine where the plot is going. This episode made a clear flow at the very beginning but still left us watchers in questions. Although, the conversation between Envy and Dr. Marcoh had a rough similarity with the first anime. I wonder whether it will take us to the same direction. Anyway, I still thought Brotherhood wins!

Uprising Music Video

The music video for Uprising is finally released! Not what I was expected, but it's OK. So here's my bit of review of the music video!

I'm not completely sure whether my computer screen gotten old or Matt's face was too dark. The whole slow motion pace in the beginning of the song and a little bonfire made the song less energizing. It got better in the middle of the first chorus, credit goes for explosions and firecrackers! the "small" performance reminds me of Starlight but in slightly darker way. The last complain is the long awaited raging bears came out too late. The whole idea was great in a weird way and it's not close crappy but not all brilliant.

Valkyria Chronicles (episode 24)

An one-on-one battle between two Valkyrias is finally arise. Luck wasn't exactly on Alicia side in the beginning of the battle, but emotions and rigid battle intertwined on both of Alicia and Selvaria's mind. As the battle continue, Maximilian went to Randgriz to seek his prolonged dream of becoming the throne but the unexpected truth was laid in front of his eyes. Not wanting to lose, he'd sacrifice anyone getting in his way. On the other side of the story, Welkin provoked his on thought on Alicia, and he finally has the confident to meet her once more. Thoughts and feelings connected, counter

attacks towards Alicia becomes a failure. and the epic battle between two Valkyrias is ended for good.

My prediction on this episode is correct. It was epic. The battle between Alicia and Selvaria is partly predictable. Emotions plays a huge role and someone eventually died due to love. Welkin and Alicia's progression is cringe worthy! It'd be much better if Welkin was there to support Alicia like the original storyline of the game. The unexpected truth on different characters made the episode, thumbs up for character development even though it's a little too late. It's one of the most brilliant episode from Valkyria Chronicles. I can't wait for the perfect ending.

Thanks to Ed's wise attempt, Winry finally gave in to put a revenge on Scar and sent to a safer place within Central. Not long after the cat-and-dog chase, the Elric brothers and The King of Xing finally reunited. But only to find Gluttony messing with the ongoing battle with Scar. But Riza Hawkeye and her obvious cover came at about the right time. Just as Ed and Al thought the battle is going to continue, an unexpected little girl and her tiny Panda showed up and the result of the battle is a complete failure. As everyone retreat, and Lan Fan's injury wasn't getting any better either, Mustang called in a doctor to aid her. In a little hut, Ed, Al, Lin Yao, and Mustang shared their important information involving the King Bradley's true identity and something unexpected had happened. Someone doesn't like the name "Mustang" and another revenge will take its place.

A lot of things going on in this episode. I even had a tough time trying to separate the highlights and the filler without spoil it too much. Anyway, this episode filled with critical moments whereas would take to another degree on the next installment and so forth. I've never felt so ecstatic whilst watching a single episode of an anime! Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood just brought me to another new level of excitement.

Muse at the VMAs 2009

Yesterday Muse put a whole set gig for the VMAs (MTV Video Music Awards) in New York City. None other words to describe it, fans said it was brilliant. As the first single, Uprising were nationally broadcasted on MTV for the whole world to see. Soon after the gig ended two other pro-shot videos were announced, United States of Eurasia and Resistance are available on MTV.com.

Eeek, but I'm not able to watch it for some unknown reason. I have a feeling it's " The US only", but several people from other countries and my country are able to watch it. Links from youtube are also banned for COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT. Alas, but I was able to watch Uprising and it was epic but I personally think Matt's vocal is weak. I wonder why...Does small venue bring an impact on how the crowd react? Were they um confined? *triedtoohard*

My favourite manga. Although I'm ashamed to say that I just started to watch the anime. As a noob myself, I have the urge to have Bleach-related stuff (action figure, plush, keychain, etc) when I went shopping. Anywho..I just got Urahara Kisuke plushie yesterday:D

Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu Season 2 (Final Episode)

This is the last episode of the second season that I wasn't aware of last week. This review has major spoilers compared to the last one. I remind you, skip to the bottom of the screen cap if you don't want to find out the end*wink*

Continuing from last episode, Haruhi's wish of having a talking cat partially came true. There were no black cats around but she wasn't bothered at all. in between the "filming" of her yet-to-be-known movie, philosophies between Itsuki Koizumi the esper and Mikuru Asahina the time traveler of Haruhi's existence as a God-like or not contradicts each other. Which left the dragged down Kyon in confusion. There were no guarantee which one is correct, even Yuki's highly detailed explanation are not meant to be the right one, stated by her. In the end of the episode Kyon casually explained about the existence of three major beings of Haruhi's wish but left her in annoyance. Probably it was better for her NOT to know the truth after all. The end.

Just as I thought it would get better, the season has come to end end. This episode was obviously the highlight of The Sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya. And I have to say I'm satisfied with the episode, not the series as a whole. Even the whole chronological order of the season doesn't make up for the last one. to be straight, I'm not completely disappointed. There were major story line on the first episode, a good start compared to the last one. Even the overblown Endless Eight has its own point and it was a good ending. Surely it wasn't the best work for Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu. I'd give 3/5 for this season, average much?. I'm hoping for the next installment, possibly next spring? I am still looking forward for more:)

The Resistance: Track-by-Track (almost!) Review by Moi

After my 5th listen of The Resistance, fifth album of The UK trio Muse. I have the urge to write a track-by-track (almost!) review for its brilliance. So here it goes!

1. Uprising

The song sounds like the opening of a sci-fi series I'd watch on prime time. A lot of people immediately think of Doctor Who and I have to agree with that. Very catchy synth and straight forward rhythm and not to forget the handclap that will definitely be an instant hit on gigs. When they say they were influenced by Goldfrapp, I believe them, but the musey essence can easily spot. Don’t you want to stomp your feet and rise against the government? It's a great album opening!

2. Resistance

The most beautiful love song I've ever heard in a while. It's the theme muse rarely touch but it doesn't sounds corny at all. It started out with dark effects and a dramatic yet simple piano of the late 80's. I like how Muse approached and captured the listeners’ feelings through this song. Oh and it's probably has the most driven bass line on the album! It would be perfect if a short guitar solo appeared though. but I'm really happy with the current state. Improvisation for live shows? I hope so! Easily in love with this song.

3. Undisclosed Desires

I wouldn't say Undisclosed Desires is their weakest song, but it's not out there either. It's something they haven't done before. I nearly loathed this song when I hear it for the first time. It’s like a crossover between Timberlake/Timbaland and corny 80's anthem with melodic vocals. It actually grows on me now. And they pulled it off quite well. I think it's going to stick on the setlist for the resistance tour hence the costumed keytar by Manson. I wouldn't mind if I miss this song though. But oh keytar. It looks hot on Matt.

4. United States of Eurasia (+Collateral Damage)

It took me a while to appreciate the song especially during the project eurasia period where we're only able to listen to the song part by part. The Queen influence and the a few cringe worthy moments like the "Only oooone" and "Eura sia! sia! sia!" did made me laugh quite a bit. But the song is fully grown on me and I love it! The outstanding piano bits, Arabic tunes, and of course Chopin Nocturne Op. 9 no.2 cover with a little spice of children's voice, flying bombs and matt's beautiful hums. I am not afraid to use the overrated BOMBASTIC for this song!

5. Guiding Light

It's an OK song. Definitely not mediocre but not their best either. but it's still too early for me to decide. I just knew it'll take a while for me to appreciate. Started with a slow paced drums and synth I've heard numerous times before. Very anthem-esque song and probably would sounds good live.

6. Unnatural Selection

If you are one of those Origin of Symmetry fans to begin with, this song is undoubtedly the best one on the record! Killer metal riffs and it sounds like a combination of New Born, Citizen Erased, and Megalomania! The fast and slow paced are about the right amount. and the lyrics are absolutely beautiful. Like Undisclosed Desires, this song is definitely stuck on the setlist for the tour. I HAVE to see this one live! It’s one of the best things they've ever done. Very musey and classic!

7. MK Ultra

An awesome power driven song with heavy melodious guitar, synchronised bass and drums, amazing riffs, and powerful vocal. Easily one of the best songs on the album. I was moved with the song just from my first listen. I'm really looking forward to listen to the live version of the song. If I'm lucky enough, I might able see and hear the song live myself. No other words to describe it. This song is powerfully fantastic!

8. I Belong To You (+Mon Cœur S’ouvre à ta Voix)

It’s the non guitar song of the album. The best word to describe the beginning is funky. whether it's the piano or the bass, the word funky and cheery are all over the place until in reached the part where matt sings in French. I felt like I was in a classic chick flick where the main protagonists are about to have an intimate action in a bar. I don't know how I got the idea but that's how I picture it anyway. That's why I found the song a bit hilarious but in a good way.

9, 10, and 11. Exogenesis : Symphony Part I, II, and III

(Overture, Cross-Polination, Redemption)

the 13-minute symphony monster that were rumoured ever since the start of the year didn't disappoint me one bit. Not to the slightest. The first part started out with heavy strings and followed by signature falsetto by Bellamy and their main instruments. Just mint and beautiful. The second part is much lighter, started out a soothing piano and strings. I finally heard a clear vocal, very drowning and beautiful and it continues, getting heavier as if its reach its climax and the aftermath follow through with Redemption, the last part of the symphony. It's the best album closer after Megalomania. And The Resistance finally comes to an end. I absolutely adore this symphony.

Overall, it has been another brilliant album by Muse *cough*betterthanbhar*cough*.

It will be getting better and I have no doubt about it! It really captured every emotions and the phrase "successful formula" isn't something Muse would use. The sounds are fresh, new, and experimental.

I'm looking forward for the upcoming gig I'm not even sure when. Muse has to relive my excitement from two years ago and captivated me once more with their energetic live shows. I give the album 8.75/10!

Valkyria Chronicles (episode 23)

Like previous anime post, won't start from the first episode!

Alicia's power are still controlled by the army to demolish the power of the empire. Selviria on the other hand, is still sulking after being defeated by fellow valkyria on the previous war. One last war will determine the victory, post-human Alicia is willing to give everything with one last selfish request offered by Princess Cordelia herself. While Welkin is still in bed due to his recklessness towards the army, he had a random dream involving his feeling towards Alicia. Love much? In the end everyone is prepared for battle. But there's something between Alicia and Welkin that needed to be sorted out first. will it be too late?

It was an OK episode. The plot is continuing but lacking tad of emotions. I found it kind of obvious the Squad 7 is considerate towards Alicia now but one of them still disgusts me. Finally we can see the progress of Alicia and Welkin but it's still too little considering only three episodes left. All in all I can't wait for the next installment. Could it be the best episode of the series? I hope so.

Muse Album Leak and Pro-Shots Footage

What can I say? the news keep flowing everyday as the album release is getting closer. Anyway, talking about the album release, The Resistance is already leaked. Yes, it leaked! Some early sales error in a several music stores in Paris and Melbourne allow us to (illegally) download the album before its official release. I'm not an upstanding citizen to begin with, so after links were sent to my inbox (thank you!) I download it straight away and it was BRILLIANT! Don't worry, I'm a massive Muse fan, when the album is officially released here, I will definitely buy the CD:)

And I apologise I won't be able to give out links, search for leaks on google it will be on the first page. Beware of fakes!

Another Muse news would be the pro-shots footage from their two previous homecoming gigs in Teignmouth. The footage were shown on BBC and are available here.

They should've had Resistance and Unnatural Selection. But I don't mind a little bit of keytar on Undisclosed Desires. oh can anyone tell me when will they get rid of Feeling Good from their setlist? well, anyway enjoy these treats!

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (episode 22)

It's my first written Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood review, and yes it doesn't start from episode one, I apologise for the awkwardness :P

This episode picked up where it left off from the previous episode where Lan fan, Lin Yao's bodyguard attacked by King Bradley after her sudden attack toward Gluttony. As she collapsed, Lin tried to save her and himself but struggled to do so and the battle between the four of them continue. On the other side of the story, Winry caught herself in the middle of a battle and apparently overheard a conversation between the Edward Elric and Scar about her parents death. Knowing the painful truth, the emotional breakdown attacked. Winry were trying to do the unthinkable but fail.

It's one of those episode where emotions take its toll. Which I found very exciting! it's started out like we already predicted but it took the other direction. Tear-jerking and honest, this episode really brought up Edward's gentle side even for a minute, which brought Winry to give in.

New Songs From Thom Yorke

According to Thom Yorke's post on Dead Air Space (DAS for short), two new songs will be released on 12 inch vinyl and it's available for order at w.a.s.t.e

The songs are Feeling Pulled Apart by Horses and The Hollow Earth. According to the site "They are loosely under the Thom Yorke name this time, although these days its all getting kind of blurry". Feeling Pulled Apart by Horses is written and played by Jonny Greenwood and The Hollow Earth is from around The Eraser both songs produced by Nigel Godrich.

I don't have record player and two songs for 10p is a bit too much for a student like me. Therefore I'm not going to buy it. the website did say the "gratis download" is available on the 21st of September, the day of its release. I hope the downloads are not limited to a certain amount. Really looking forward to this!

First Anime Post: Haruhi Suzumiya no Yuutsu

I thought I was going to drop this anime after the fourth episode. but the first awesome fourteen episodes of the first jumbled season I have the urge to keep on watching, regardless how annoying the endless eight was. For those who are not familiar with the anime, I'm talking about this show

On this week it's the 13th episode, I have to say it started like the previous two episodes, Haruhi being bossy and the others are shooting a film for the school festival. Kyon as the narator kept on complaining yet still follow through..errr not quite. He finally reached his boiling points! Even after Koizumi calmed him he couldn't take it anymore.

Kyon is acting quite the opposite on this episode, it simply means the episode is worth a mention. I'm pretty sure the shooting will take another episode (the fourth time already!) let's hope the next installment would be the last one and the show can finally move on!

p.s: an odd start indeed, but I'm doing reviews from this point onwards. Cheers!

Yeah, the first post was random. however the name of the blog says it all but at least I want to make the posts sorted out quite well.

Posts about Muse and other bands that I like might pop up quite often, and reviews of the very recent episode of Fullmetal Alchemist or The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya might appear every week. And for once in a while, I might have put the latest film I've seen or the last interesting recipe I cooked. So everything narrowed down as entertainment for readers, which I hope they're all useful and well entertaining!:)
